The Welsh Corgi League, founded in 1938 has grown from very
small beginnings into a world-wide organisation whose primary
objectives are:
- * To create and maintain worldwide interest in and to encourage the breeding, exhibiting and training of Welsh Corgis (Pembroke), in accordance with the standards adopted by the Kennel Club.
* To assist Members to co-operate in the best interests of the Breed.
- *To form Sections and Subsections in suitable areas for the furthering of the interests of the Breed and the League.
In order that The Welsh Corgi League should have all the advantages of a big club, without losing the more intimate atmosphere of a smaller one, it has been divided into Sections and Sub-sections.
Overseas members belong to the League as a whole, but those residing in Britain become members of the Section or Sub-section in which they reside: The Scottish Section, The Northern Section, The Southern Section or The East Anglian Sub-Section.
